The store located at 1354 Willy Street opened early in 2013 to help urban gardeners and greenhouse growers. From house plants and pottery to organic gardening supplies and advice, we are here to help you with any of your specialized gardening needs. We carry high quality soils, seeds, and gardening equipment to help the urban grower. We carry classic house plants as well as exotic and rare items, including a large selection of airplants and succulents.

The store is located on the first floor of a historic 3 story building on Williamson street that was the location of Mona Boulware Webb's Way House of Light. The 'Queen of Willy Street' transformed the building into more than just a home studio, she decorated every square inch of the property and created a welcoming community space that was the site of artistic collaborations for 3 decades. Although the Way House was dismantled after her death in 1998, we like to think that her creative energy still lingers in the building.

The original founder of the store, Jordan Hosking, now operates the Wisconsin Greenhouse Company. He has installed greenhouses for backyards around the Madison area as well as larger projects for the UW and local farmers. Whether you're looking for a small 8' x 8' hobby greenhouse for your backyard or a large 40' x 80' greenhouse for your school, he can help make your greenhouse dreams a reality.

We are here to help you with your plant questions and concerns. Stop by the shop next door to Lazy Jane's on Willy Street and see how we can help.
